Your initiative addresses ocean-based solutions to climate mitigation and adaptation in accordance to one or more of the following principles: Advance scientific understanding of ocean functions; Take actions to reduce the causes of ocean degradation and preserve marine ecosystems; Increase the resilience of coastal environments and communities from the impact of a changing climate; Build coordinated efforts to address the interlinkages between ocean and climate and raise awareness on this ongoing issue. You are open and willing to share your specific knowledge, on-the-ground experiences and benefit from others.
